Quality assured holiday home cleaning · Lauterbrunnen valley
Same team. Same standard. Every clean.
We look after a small number of holiday homes, with the same cleaner every time and a quality check after every changeover. Your standard is agreed and photographed up front, so everyone knows exactly what clean looks like.
Deliberately small: we take on a limited number of homes so quality never slips. Starting in Lauterbrunnen village this winter.
The problem
Quality slips when a cleaning firm takes on too much.
What we hear from hosts in the valley comes back to the same thing: too many properties, too little time, and nobody checking.
Our standard
Quality assured, in four parts.
Technology doesn't make a place clean. People do. Everything we do is built around the cleaner who looks after your home, with checks so nothing slips.
The same cleaner, every time
Your home has one named cleaner, plus one named backup, who learn it properly: where things go, what guests notice, what your place needs. You know who's coming, and so do they. We work with a small number of trusted cleaners and build long relationships with them, not a rota of strangers.
A standard you agree up front
Before we start, we photograph every room the way it should look for a guest and write a checklist for your property: towels, welcome items, spares, how the beds are made. That's the baseline. You know exactly what your guests will walk into, and the cleaner knows exactly what's expected.
A second pair of eyes after every clean
Before leaving, the cleaner photographs each room and the check compares it with the baseline: a hair in the tray, spots on the mirror, a missing spare roll. Anything flagged is fixed on the spot, and you get a report before check-in. It doesn't clean anything. It makes sure nothing is missed.
Small by design, and accountable
We only take on as many homes as our team can look after properly. We spot-check in person, not just through the app. If something is missed, tell us and we come back and put it right, at no charge.
How a changeover works
Your cleaner, your standard, checked.
We don't replace people with technology. We give your cleaner a second pair of eyes, and give you proof.
Baseline
Agreed with you once: every room photographed from fixed angles, exactly as it should look for a guest. That's your property's standard.
Clean
Your named cleaner does the changeover, every time, following the checklist written for your place, not a generic one.
Check
Before leaving, the cleaner walks the property with a phone. An on-screen guide lines up each shot with the baseline, and the check flags anything missing or missed in seconds.
Report
Flags get fixed and re-photographed on the spot. You get a short report before check-in: ready, plus anything worth knowing.
The second pair of eyes
See what the check catches.
Not the obvious stuff. The small things guests notice and a busy cleaner can miss: a hair on a pillowcase, water spots on the mirror, a mug left behind. Compare the baseline with today's photo, try to spot them, then run the check.
What you get
More than a clean.
Quality assured turnover
Your cleaner, your standard, checked against your baseline, fixed on the spot and reported to you before check-in. No more going round after the cleaners.
Guest checkout record
A quick timestamped photo set of how guests left the place, taken before cleaning starts. Backs up an honest guest review and any damage claim.
Property health log
Yellowing silicone, a dripping tap, a chipped glass, a sticky drawer. Spotted at every clean, logged, and sent to you as a short monthly summary.
Care calendar

What's different
From hoping it's clean to knowing it is.
| A typical turnover clean | Klarstay | |
|---|---|---|
| Who cleans | Whoever is free that day | Your named cleaner, every time |
| How many homes | As many as they can take on | A limited number, by design |
| The standard | A generic checklist, if any | Agreed with you and photographed room by room |
| How you know it's clean | You check it yourself | Photo check against your baseline, every clean |
| When something's missed | You find it, or your guest does | Flagged in the room and fixed before the report. If it still slips through, we come back free |
| Guest leaves damage | Your word against theirs | Timestamped checkout photos |
| Wear and tear | Noticed when it breaks | Logged at every clean, fixed in the quiet months |
| Off-season | Nothing happens | Spring refresh and the November reset |
The technology
Technology that backs the team, not replaces it.
We built our own check for one job: helping your cleaner make sure the room looks exactly as agreed, before they leave. It's a tool for the team, not a substitute for doing the job properly.
Any phone, no app
Runs in the phone's browser. Cleaners open a link for today's property and start. Nothing to install, and built to work in the cleaner's own language.
Lines up, then zooms in
The baseline shows faintly over the camera so each shot lines up. The phone then matches today's photo to the baseline, finds exactly what changed, and sends close-ups of just those spots to be checked. A hair in the shower tray gets looked at in detail, not lost in a wide shot.
AI flags, people decide
The check flags what looks different. The cleaner fixes and confirms, and we review the flags and patterns, so problems get solved for good, not just reported.
Straight talk
What a photo can and can't tell you.
The check catches
- Hair on linen, in showers and basins
- Water spots, smears and limescale on visible surfaces
- Beds and towels not made to standard
- Missing amenities, welcome items and spares
- Things left behind, crumbs and litter
- Stains, marks and visible damage
- Things moved, broken or gone
- Low toilet roll and consumables
So people cover the rest
- Dust on high surfaces, limescale film and smells don't show in a photo
- A checklist for your property covers them every time
- Rotating deep tasks so nothing is skipped for long
- Regular in-person spot checks by us, not just the app
